N-Power plan
to dump 500,000 tonnes of waste fuel ash into Radley Lakes, near
Oxford. The Lakes are home to a wide variety of wildlife including
kingfishers, swans and otters.
Despite a recent violent eviction the site remains
occupied and the campaigners are asking for urgent support. Food
is being supplied by locals and bedding is plentiful, but people
are in short supply. If you can get there - even for a few hours
- go! You're very welcome to stay but you will need to bring a tent.
Camp Kylie - It's a survivor!
Camp Kylie has been set up close to the house
that was recently evicted in Thrupp Lane, Radley, near Oxford. Go
to Radley train station, which is near Oxford. Turn left out of
the station and ask for directions to the Camp in the Bowyers Arms
pub. It's only a ten minute walk from the station to the Camp.
