Camp Bling

campaigns page

The F5 road scheme will cover the burial site of a Saxon King with Tarmac and destroy over 100 trees. Camp Bling has been established to oppose this mad scheme. The Camp is now well established: We have a dry and warm communal area with a snug 'custom built' sleeping space for visitors, food, compost toilets, and lovely people!

Camp Bling

Pagans are involved, and several live on site. [Adrian writes] I built my own beautiful 'bender' to see me through the winter of 2005, though I'm no longer living full time on site. Come and see for yourself!

Adrian's Bender

Our 'Visitors Centre' has replicas of the Kings treasure, information on the road plans, past campaigns and about the low-impact, sustainable living we practice here.

Help needed - call 07817 182394 (site number) if you can bring supplies or just turn up.

Getting there

The site is at Priory Crescent (A1159), Southend-on-Sea, Essex (next to the railway line). Get the train to Prittlewell station. We're just a few minutes walk from there. See the map on the Camp Bling website. The train from London takes less than an hour and leaves from Liverpool Street.

Eco-Magic

We'd love you to do some magic for us. There are maps on the Camp Bling website, so maybe send energy through that. There are Dragon Runes onsite, so that's also a good connection. Or e-mail me.
